Description
The word Darjeeling brings us into the world of quality teas; some consider that in this region of India are pruduits the best teas in the world. Our Darjeeling tea comes from the garden called Margaret’s Hope, in memory of the owner’s first daughter, Mr. Bagdon, who had loved this garden very much and who had died before the first tea production.
On this plantation are grown almost exclusively plants of the Chinese type Thea Sinensis. The slow growth of this variety forms the basis for high-quality and fully aromatic teas like this tea that comes from one of the most popular gardens in Darjeeling.
This “second flush” tea is the harvest of summer, when the leaves have already matured and can offer us the grandeur of one of the best teas in the world, light and entirely aromatic with a magnificent amber cup. The bouquet is aromatic, spicy and slightly sweet. It has earned the TGFOP1 label which guarantees the high quality of this tea. Our Darjeeling Margaret’s Hope TGFOP1 is splendid in the afternoon, does not contain much theine.
